About Us

The dream started with a desire to make organically grown food more readily available and financially accessible for the families living in the Kelowna area. Founders of the company saw a way to grown organically all year round and jumped on the chance to begin in the world of hydroponics.

From there, the beautiful plot of land at 415 Old Vernon Road became the home for a full-production hydroponics facility, and a year of R+D later we sell into markets and stores under the business Crafted Fresh Foods. The success in both indoor and outdoor growing brought about Homestead Foods. Homestead Foods now utilizes the hydroponics facility and the field growing on site, the happy hens living there, and the cattle herd being raised 11kms away to supply organically grown and raised food to our neighbours and friends who resonate with the clean farming practices we use.
